About Me

Hello! I'm a 50+ yr old big kid who is starting over.

I'm fun, generous, dog lover, talker, hard-worker. I like to keep it simple but subconsciously go out of my way to make it difficult, picky (or you could say I know what I like or don’t like in great detail), organizer of social events, a dark chocoholic.  I am a Christian but no worries, I'm not a bible thumper, my relationship with God is very important to me, I would love for everyone to have a relationship with Him but it is totally up to you.  I do refer to God and his many blessings but I do not shove my beliefs on anyone.  Occasionally my halo will slip and I may swear or say things that people may construe as non christian behavior but I am only human and a work in progress.


Things I’d like to do more of, have fun, laugh, travel, hike, bike, play tennis, go to the theatre & concerts, go back to school & get a degree.

I’ve spent most of my life sitting on the sidelines too afraid to get into the game of life & participate. I’m at the point where I want to play, even though the possibility of me getting my ass handed to me by the opposing team is very likely! I’m tired of watching everyone else having fun, being loved & living their lives. I want to live, have fun & love someone who loves me for me! 

My blog is a mismash of thoughts, ideas, desires, pictures and recipes.  Sometimes it's my sounding board for what is going on in my head.  At this time I don't have a direction for this blog but I am hoping in a few months it will flesh itself out.  If not, oh well!
