MIA

Last Saturday I drove to Minneapolis and spent some time at my favorite place, the Minneapolis Institute of Art.

Going to MIA is like going to church for me.  There is so much beauty & perfection in that building!  God is everywhere you look there.  His blessings pour out for everyone to experience.

My favorite section is the European 1200-1600’s Section along with the Europe/American 1600-1800’s Section.  The early 1200-1600’s section the colors are so vibrant & the artistry is unsurpassed.  The detail in the brocades and lace is amazing.  I stood and admired the Van Gogh, Olive Trees in Yellow Sky and Sun.  I could feel the warmth of the Sun radiating off of the canvas, it was amazing.

Upon leaving I had such a feeling of peace and contentment.  Though I had been there for hours it felt like I had just gotten there.  I truly can not wait to go back again.
